OPT extension

Hi ,

 

Please help me with your suggestions regarding my issue.

I've completed my masters in one of the universities which lost accrediation due to the ACICS accrediation revocation recently. My initial OPT is going to expire in February 2016 and I was about to send my extension documents to USCIS this week. As a result of revocation of ACICS accrediation, is that going to be a problem for me for getting my 24 months OPT extension?

Yes. Your extension application may not be honored by USCIS. Contact an attorney for further suggestions.
