Masters quota for H1B

Hi i have completed my masters almost 7 years back. When applying for H1B visa would i come under general quota or under masters quota?

If the Masters was from an accredited, public or non-profit private university, then you qualify for the Master's quota.

If you give proper details of your Master's degree in the I129 form ( ie degree must be from US accredited institution of higher education), then you will first be considered for Master's quota and if that fails in lottery, then you will get another chance and will be considered for General quota.
