H4 extension filed but receipt number is not received

Hi,

My employer filed my H1b Extension and H4 extension for my wife on the same date in October 2016 second week. I received my petition number and Receipt notice (I797 c) from employer. They also confirmed that my wife's H4 extension is also filed with USCIS and Receipt notice will be sent directly to our address.  Even after 2 months we haven't received her Receipt notice and we don't know the receipt number also. Address given in I539 is correct. Expiration date of visa is on December 16th 2016. Now I want to upgrade the petition to premium (both H1 and H4). Will this require a copy or Receipt notice of my wife's H4 extension? if so how can we get the Receipt notice with out Receipt number?

You need to ask your employer's attorney or call USCIS customer care.

Thanks Shekar, I called USCIS Customer care and they gave the Receipt number. It looks like they wont issue a duplicate receipt notice and only Receipt number is enough for upgrading to premium. I am waiting to hear back from Employer
