First time H1 visa stamping as COS denied

Hi,

I am on H4 visa in US and had applied for H1 through an employer. My H1 recently got approved but COS has been denied as I had to visit India for some family emergency while my H1 decision was pending. Now, I need to get H1 visa stamped in order to start working in US. 

India is my home country but since it is far and quite tiresome journey, so i was thinking if i can get my visa stamped from Canada/Bahamas/Jamaica ? Or do you think it would be safer to go to India and get it stamped? And since i was on H4 so I do not have previous employment docs or paystubs to show at US Embassy. Do you think this would be an issue?

Need some suggestion regarding this.

1. It is always safe to go to home country for stamping. 

2. Employment docs and paystubs have to be provided upon request and it could be an issue.

Home country is the best option. You should not have any issue but you need the employment offer letter form your employer.
