H4 to H1B COS Approved but still hold valid H4 visa

hi,

I came in H4 status this Jan and filed for H4 to H1B COS which got approved NOV with new I797 and now I dont wish to work, I do have valid H4 visa stamped on the passport. Is it possible for me fly to India/Canada and come back to USA on the H4 visa. Would that change my status to H4 again? Please advise....Thanks

Yes you can. That is the easiest option.
