pushpa456
Hi, I came to US in feb 2014 on H4 visa. I applied for COS for H1 in 2014 and got my H1 approved. As per the recent petition from my current employer it is valid till 2019 but my H4 visa expired in sep 2015. I am planning to travel to India in 2017. when I tried to schedule an appointment for H1B stamping, I came across below question. Do you have a previous H-1B visa (temporary occupation, temporary worker or trainee)? What should I answer for this question? though I am on H1B which was not issued in India. Link to comment
shekar11#
You have a previous H-1B petition. But you don't have H-1 visa stamp. You should answer No to this question. Link to comment
pushpa456
I heard H1B visa is is different from h1b approved petition, visa is something issued in India after visa stamping interview. but my H1B case is just change of status in US without any visa stamping in India. so I wasn't sure what should I answer for above question Link to comment
