H1B Amendment in premium processing when extension/amendment is still pending

I have my h1b amendment and extension filed in april 2016 in regular processing and my i94 expiration is sep 30 2016. There is a change in client and an amendment is filed in premium processing on 15th december. The initial extension and amendment is still in regular processing. What happens now

Just wait for a reply from USCIS. Think all should be approved because they cannot approve amendment without extension.
