Regarding My Parents Visa Interview

Hi

I am applying visitor(B1/B2) visa for my parents, looking for interview slot in dec\jan 2017

my question is  currently I have my approved petition ( I-797) up to MARCH 13, 2017 only, and my extension still in pending

so if my parents attends Visitor interview with this I-797 (match 2017) petition, is there any problem due to time limit, or do i need to wait for my extension approve, can anyone pls suggest on my query.

First, you don't apply. they apply.

Second, your H1 petition doesn't matter at all. They need to have strong ties to their home country, so that there is evidence that they will return to their country.
