I have the receipt notice and I am waiting for the approval (I-797). My travel to India is in Feb and I have arranged for the DATV visa appointment in a week. Will they require my I-797 to provide transit visa or can I show them the receipt? I am hoping I would have the I-797 before my travel. If they definitely require my approval notice then I might have to cancel my appointment. Kindly clarify. Thanks in advance.
