Genelia_Bombay
Sorry if this is a long post, just wanted to clearly define what information I am looking for... I have been in the US for a while. Was on F1 4 years for my MS (Electrical Engg) and then on H1 for the last 12 yrs now. Current company started GC process and I have a PD in May 2010 (India) with no end in sight. My spouse is on H4 EAD and has a PhD (Electrical Engg) and works for a university research lab which primarily does work for NASA. We have a son who is severely autistic and needs a lot of support which we don't have where we live especially when it comes to insurance coverage. So we are ending up paying $24k - $30k per year for his care which basically means even with both of us working and earning a combined $200k+ a year, we are barely left with anything as we also have elderly parents to support back home. I am very naive about the whole GC process but my understanding is that if we move to another location, we will have to redo the LC again. I did not start my current company but was one of the first 2 - 3 and we have grown our company from a one room office to more than 200+ people with many offices in NA and project deployments in over 200 locations all over the world and I hold a very senior management position. We have won many awards and I can get references from people who can vouch for me probably including the governor of the state as our core senior management team has personally received accolades from his office multiple times. Are there any avenues for me to pursue EB1 or will my spouse have a better shot at that in applying for EB1 through the university? Thank you for your time in advance for reviewing and responding. pontevecchio
It would be to your best interests to actually call the firm of Murthy and discuss your credentials with them. Besides achievements, presentation is King. You seem to have made the error of assuming the forum is the firm which is not true. I wish you best of luck. Call the Murthy firm or any of your choice.
