Rakesh-H1B Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 Hello All, I work in EVC Model and have been with same employer from the beginning. I had been to my first H1b visa stamp in Ottawa back in 2012 and was issues 221g. That issue got resolved after having a verification with End Client Manager. Now I am planning to go for stamping again and this time I will going to India (Hyd) US consulate. Just curious to know, if the previously issued 221g will have any effect on stamping process this time around? Has anyone got 221G first time and had smooth sailing next time? Note: My situation has not changed, I am still with same employer but different Client and location, my H1B petition is clean and amended up to date. Thanks, Rakesh Rao
irarum Posted December 7, 2016 Report Posted December 7, 2016 Rakesh, I had 221g issued in 2012 for second time stamping. first time in 2010 was success. in 2016 I got my visa approved but waiting for passport. I was only asked about how long I was in US and if 140 was approved. I was also very tensed and asked question in multiple forums with no answers. But it was approved by VO without asking for any documents. Make sure you have all documents and prepare well. Be ready to explain your job, your employer company details etc. And be confident. I wish you success. -V
shekar11# Posted December 7, 2016 Report Posted December 7, 2016 You should not have any issues if you have all the supporting docs.
