Visa Stamping

Hi ,

I  recently had employer change  to employer B . But , I have visa stamped  on my passport with employer A until 2018 March. Do I need to go for stamping again since I had employer change?.  I am planning to visit India for an family emergency. Your help is greatly appreciated.

You can use your existing stamping from company A. Make sure you show your company B's I-797 at port of entry.

No need to go for stamping if visa is valid though employer is changed.

No need to go for stamping again. Old visa is good as you have it until 2018 March. but at POE you need to show your new approved I797A with new employer. I did the same when i was in this scenario.
