h4 in case of change of employer for H1b

Hello,

I have a H4 stamped which is valid till sep 2018. My spouse changed employer and old h1b is revoked now.

We did not file H4 while filing for H1b change of employer.

Can I still use old H4 or I need to file I-539 to get new H4 status. I am currently on F1 visa but need H4 in order to aply for H4 Ead.

if i need to get new H4 stamp, can i travel to canada without my spouse to get the stamping instead of filing I-539.

I am very confused with this whole h1-h4 revoke/change of employer thing.

Any help is highly appriciated!!!

Leave and return on the basis of the H4 visa you already have stamped and show your spouses H1 petition on entry.
