H4 stamp expired. Going for F1 visa Stamping. What in case of F1 rejection?

I am on H4 , currently in US. Planning to go for F1 visa stamping in India. My H4 petition is approved till 2018 , but the stamp on my passport is expired.

in case my F1 gets rejected, how soon can I go for H4 stamping? Will it affect my H4?

 

can i go for H4 and then within a months duration go for F1? Will it risk my F1?

If your F-1 gets rejected you can go for H-4 anytime. No restrictions.

Yes you can. But first option is preferable.
