PD retention based on first time approval?

Dear All,

I am going thru a situation where my first I140- EB2 is approved around Feb 2012 thru company A , this is active for a long period and withdrawn in OCT 2015 . After it gets withdrawal , company B got me an approved I140-EB2 on July 2016 with PD retention. 

Now I moved to company C on NOV-2016 . Company C has started my GC filings . If Company B withdraw my I 140 immediately , still my 2012 PD from first employer retains? Please advice ..

Each application is independent, so I think you can still use your first one to port the PD. How do you know your employer has withdrawn your application? What message(Withdrawn or Revoked) do you see when checking the status of your application online?
