Fee amount and check to be payable for H4 EAD with I 140 approved

Hi,

 

Can someone please let me know how much fee to be paid and to whose name the check be made payable for my wife's EAD? She has H4 visa and i have I 140 approved. She comes under c(26) category.

 

 

USCIS website says 380$ and check to be paid to US Department of Homeland security, I paid 465$ (380$ fee and 85$ biometric fee) to US Department of Homeland security and they rejected saying amount is incorrect. They also have put a seal on check saying "US Department of Homeland Security Citizenship and Immigration Services".

 

So just a check of 380$ suffice?

Do the USCIS instructions say that biometrics have to be paid for? If not, then don't pay that. Follow the instructions to the letter, don't assume things.

No, it says biometrics is required for c(33) category only. Do we need to submit 2 photographs in this case?
