Pritish Posted November 28, 2016 Report Posted November 28, 2016 hi, I was converting my wife from H1 to H4. I received RFE. My wife was on maternity leave from April-August 2016. My employer was late in putting the request to USCIS for H4 conversion and hence they received the request on Oct 3rd of 2016. Now they need a letter from "previous H1 holding company" (spouse's) to state her visa status from April- Oct 3rd. We spoke to previous employer and they can give letter till August only. What are my options?
