Hello

My H1b Extension application has approved in Premium processing after filing it in Mar-2016 and converting in premium on Sep-2016. My dependents status still shows "Application received", Vermont center. All our applications extension and premium were filed together.

1. How long can they stay in USA ? Is there a 240 days rule for dependents too ?

2. If I change the job can my new employer file for there extension with my h1b transfer or shall we wait for there approval before changing the job ? are there any other possible complications here ?

Hi, I am also in the same situation. MY H1Got approved in June-2016 , but still my dependent visa is in pending.

I checked with many people, and called many times to USCIS and got the information like "  240 Days rule is applicable for dependents also.", they cant stay more than 240 days.

My question is  suppose if we dint approval here with in 240 days,

Are we allowed to apply dependent visa along with my on my approved petition,

Sine I got extension, I need to go for stamping in India when we are  going to India,. Is it possible to get stamping both together?

My son case also pending with Vermont center only.
