employer name change -no change in federal tax number

Hi,

My employer changed the company name-its just a name change nothing changed with the federal tax id no acquistions nor mergers..just a change of name.He provided me with the document from the state department showing the company name change and said these should be carried and shown wherever neccessary.

my question is i have extended my h1 last year(valid until 2018) and since then iam with same client and in the same job role --nothing changed now iam planning for stamping do i need to amend my H1B to show the correct name on the i-797? will it be a problem at stamping or POE?

 

any suggestions will be helpfull....just checking to see if anyone been through this scenario
