H1B Visa appointment dates in Jan 2017 - Hyd

Hi Friends,

I am trying to book my Visa appointment dates in January 2017 at Hyderabad Consulate.

I don't see any appointment slots available in Jan 2017, the first available date is Feb 10th 2017.

Also I see only 11 am slots available for any dates that are open. Please advise if I can expect some dates open\available in Jan 2017 at Hyderabad consulate.

I think in HYD the H1b slots are only after 10.00 Am. Not sure though.

There are quite a few slots available in November and December, puzzling thing is why January slots are so low at this time.

I assume more people would be traveling during November and December time frame because of the holiday season in USA. I am really hopeful to see some new slots open in January 2017. Please reply if any of you have similar experience while selecting appointment dates. Thanks!

Consulate opened a lot of slots for November and December through a press release. I suggest you book an appointment in January and then keep looking for a date that you would like. I think you could change it 3 times.

Thanks for your reply Irarum.

For other readers information - maximum number of times you could reschedule is 15.

I booked my visa appointment in Kolkata for the dates I like and still looking to see if there would be any slots open around Jan 17, 18, 19 or 20 at Hyderabad consulate.
