Unused/Expired approved and stamp H1B Visa

Hello Experts,

I have approved H1B visa stamped in my passport from Company A in the month/year of Oct’2006 and expired on 30-sep-2009. Company A did not send me to USA and also didn’t gave any me any Visa related documents.

I joined Company B in 2009 – they filed B1 visa and it’s approved, for short business meetings Company B used to send me on B1 visa and recently they filed L1B visa, currently I’m in USA on L1B visa for long duration project, my L1B visa validity is till Oct 2018.

Question1: Can any employer in USA use as a reference of my expired or unused H1B to file or transfer to new H1B ?

your visa got expired so you have to go to VISA interview for stamping under h1b cap exempt. you can just simply transfer from L1 to H1b as your visa got expired and also you already in USA with different VISA.
