Sid.R
Hello, I have a 5 day business trip to Mexico sponsored by the company I work for coming up very soon. (As per the information from Mexico embassy, I have been informed that I would not need any other visitor visa since I have a valid US Visa) As of now, I am in my initial OPT period which ends in Feb 2017 and I haven't applied for the Stem extension yet. I would like to know if there is anything I will have to make sure about before leaving for this trip as a precautionary measure. Also, it would be great if you can give me a list of all the supporting documents I need to carry during this trip. All your responses will be very much appreciated. Thank you. Note: I have the original copy of my latest I-20. However, I have only the photocopy of my first I-20 Link to comment
shekar11#
You need to inform the DSO about the trip. Travel I-20 and also all I-20's, OPT card, employment letter, pay stubs, master's degree and transcripts are the main docs. Link to comment
Sid.R
Hi Shekhar, Thank you for the response. Is it ok If I carry the paystubs of the last 4-5 months. And would it be okay to carry the copy of first-issued I-20 as I have lost the original one. Is any part of this trip something I need to be concerned about? Or is it just me? I appreciate your responses, Thanks Link to comment
shekar11#
Yes. Should be fine. Copy is enough. You are good as long as you have all the mentioned docs. Link to comment
