My H1B extension is pending I moved to different work location same end client but different prime vendor

Any suggestion is appreciated. 

My H1B extension is pending I moved to different work location same end client but different prime vendor. 

My H1B and I-94,My wife H4 expired in Sep 30 2016. My employer applied for a H1 B,H4 Extension regular processing with Client # 1 in second week of Sep2016 and received receipt number .While the extension was under process, my project with Client # 1 came to an end on oct302016. I found a new project with same client #1 different prime vendor and the work location is 6miles away with same zip code from previous work location. 
I have plan to visit India in Feb. 

What are my options now please suggest. 
Do I need to file amendment with new work location and prime vendor or wait till the decision of previous extension application, but the regular extension process currently taking minimum 8to9 months. In case if I move it to premium worst case if I got RFE and I am no longer with the previous (vendor,worklocation,project) how can I justify my case. Also according to end client policy will not provide client letter to the vendor. I have applied for extension in 2015 with the vendor letter same client and got approved for 1yr.
