dharmateja Posted November 18, 2016 Report Posted November 18, 2016 Hello, I work in a full time job and changed location from Ohio to North Carolina . My employer forgot to do the H1B amendment. They filed it after I moved to the new work location and got an RFE on it to explain why the amendment is not filed before I began working in the new location. Can anyone please provide any guidance on how to resolve this issue. Thanks in advance for all the help and info, Teja.
Reddi Posted November 19, 2016 Report Posted November 19, 2016 Really its very difficult to manage and provide the proof. May be you can try with these 2 options: 1. Try to file for new petition with different client. 2. Try to re-amendment with premium process if you have any proof it would shows as last moment confirmation and joining at client location.
dharmateja Posted November 21, 2016 Author Report Posted November 21, 2016 Thank you Reddi for your suggestions. If I try to file a new petition with different client, I have to submit two recent pay stubs along with the application. USCIS can find out then that the paycheck is running from different location to what is on the H1. Wouldn't that be the same issue again Please correct me if I am wrong with my above statement on the pay stubs.
