H1B Transfer-Travel after Approval but before new Employment

Hi,

I'm currently working with Company-A on H1B. Got a job offer from Company-B and the H1B transfer (Change of Employer) is in process. I’m planning to visit India (after resigning from Company A but before joining Company-B) after my petition got approved and get it stamped in India.

1. Is it permissible to visit India in the above case (before joining new employer?)

2. Does any implication rise in DS160 form fill in current Employer section?

Any pointers or thoughts would be helpful.

1. You can visit India. No issues. Make sure you have the latest I-797 and all related documentation.
