Priya#4 Posted November 14, 2016 Report Share Posted November 14, 2016 I am on H4 visa currently, my spouse is on 6th year H1B which expires in Jan 2017 and got his 7th year H1B extension( also got my H4 extension). Since he is changing his company his I140 will be revoked, so based on the other rule for H4 EAD i.e spouse's 6+ years on H1B can I apply H4 EAD right away with 7th year H1b extension or should wait till Jan 2107 for completion of 6years H1B? ( I don't want to apply H4EAD based on I140 approval) Link to comment
