remya Posted November 9, 2016 Report Posted November 9, 2016 My I-94 is expired on 1st OCT 2016. and my extension application from current employer is pending for approval with USICS. Is it possible i can get my H1B Transfer to another Employer during this period.
Reddi Posted November 9, 2016 Report Posted November 9, 2016 Basically you are not allowed to stay anymore in the US once your I-94 is expired and you are now out of status. Try to get it approved your extension as early as possible and get in touch with attorney.
JoeF Posted November 9, 2016 Report Posted November 9, 2016 A transfer without a valid I-94 would result in consular notification, i.e., you would have to go abroad, and enter with the H1 visa.
