tracker777 Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 Senior Members of the forum, Earlier this year, wife and I had some marital issues and she went back to India where she got some bad advice and filed a Dv case (in India) later we resolved our differences and she came back. My question is this - Should I answer Yes on have you ever, in or outside the United States: b. been arrested, cited, charged, indicted, convicted, fined, or imprisoned for breaking or violating any law or ordinance, excluding traffic violations? I have never been arrested, there was no indictment, conviction fine or imprisonment in India or the US. She filed a DV case and then withdrew it before coming back so the case was dismissed before any evidence. Thoughts??

I thought on DS-160 the question will be like this : Have you ever been arrested or convicted for any offense or crime, even though subject of a pardon, amnesty, or other similar action?
