URGENT - received white slip (221g) for H-1B

I have received white slip 221g for my H-1B visa application asking for supporting end client letter. Issue is - it is extremely difficult for me to obtain that letter as I no longer work for that client and my employer failed to amend my H-1B petition when changing client. Please let me know if I need to involve my employer in this situation? What are my options?

Quick replies will be highly appreciated as I am in India right now and have to return back to USA as soon as possible.

Your employer can only help you in this case. You cannot do anything by yourself.
