Recently my wife went to INDIA and some personal reasons she has to deliver the baby in INDIA.So Please can anyone explain to me what will be the baby immigration status? what is the process to bring the baby to the USA ? and what is the process to get GREEN CARD for the baby?
JoeF Posted November 2, 2016 Report Posted November 2, 2016 The baby gets a GC automatically at the border if the baby travels with the mother to the US, AND it is the first travel to the US for the mother after the baby's birth.
pontevecchio Posted November 2, 2016 Report Posted November 2, 2016 Please GOOGLE "baby born abroad to green card holders". Basically the child can come back before its second birthday with the Mom accompanying the baby on her first trip back after giving birth.

Because when I searched in Google , some of them are saying it's better to go to US counslate then get l 89 form about Parents status and baby information.
