H1 B Amendment in Progress.

Hi,

My first H1B got approved in 2016 and my amendment is in progress, and i am planning to travel to India in Feb 2017, if the amendment process has not completed on or before Feb 2017, what will be my position once if i go to the VISA Stamping.

And more over do you suggest traveling to India, when the amendment is in progress.

My recommendation is to go after you have your amended petition in your hand. I am assuming that you have changed your client location (possibly end-client), and it would most certainly come up during your interview. It also appears that you haven't filed for amendment in premium processing. I think you should if you want to be certain that it will be done by Feb 17.
