pandu7714 Posted October 26, 2016 Report Posted October 26, 2016 Dear All, I got approved my H1B on 21st-Oct-16. I was in L1B. My family is with me on L2B. My company forgot to apply H4 status to change to family. Their I-94 valid upto Dec-21 (L2B visa). My question 1. Is it legal that they can stay now in US until H4 changes??
pontevecchio Posted October 31, 2016 Report Posted October 31, 2016 If you are saying your H1 with COS from L2 was approved on the 21st of this month, then please have a Lawyer file the family COS to H4 ASAP. They may ignore a few days out of status and usually do. The other way is to have them leave and return with the H4 visa.
