MVSK001 Posted October 24, 2016 Report Posted October 24, 2016 Hi Friends, I have applied for my H1 extension as well as H4 and got approved. But, we lost both (H1 and H4) approval notices(I-797). However we have copies of them. Now, my wife is planning to go to india for stamping H4. So, copies of both I-797 would be suffice? or do we need originals too? Please suggest. Thanks in advance!
pontevecchio Posted October 24, 2016 Report Posted October 24, 2016 She needs your H1 petition approval to get the H4 visa. Her EOS application is immaterial. A copy of your H1 petition approval will do in view of PIMS.
