US Consulate for H1 interview / Stamping

Hi

I am an Indian national and have been working in UAE for last 3 years.  I recently got my H1 approved.  Please advice on below

1. Which US consulate should I go to for H1 stamping - In UAE or in India?

2. If I opt for India, will it cause any issue as I m working in UAE from last 3 years?

1. If you are still a legal resident of UAE, generally the US consulate in UAE will allow you to apply for a visa. So it is up to you to apply  where convenient. However, keep in mind that recently several consulates in India are experiencing very significant delays for H visa appointments.

2. It will not matter. Just make sure you have proper documentation of your work just in case VO asks.
