laxman123 Posted October 20, 2016 Report Posted October 20, 2016 Hello, I am working working for company A currently and my current H1B valid and stamped till march 2017. Recently I got a job at company B and they are doing my H1B transfer(premium processing). However, I have travel plans in beginning of December. My concern is If I quit my job with current employer right before my vacation(after 2 week notice) and having not worked a single day at employer B Would I be able to return to US with valid I-797 from Employer B without any problems ? In other words do they require me to work at least few days at employer B before going out of the country, Would they ask any paychecks ? Can somone clarify ? (Employer A would have revoked my H1B with them by then) Appreciate your help.
pontevecchio Posted October 20, 2016 Report Posted October 20, 2016 It is absolutely fine. You need the approved H1 petition and your job offer with you.
