How long does USCIS take to send I-797 once petition is approved?

My H1b petition was approved through premium processing on october 12th. How long does USCIS take to send I-797 once petition is approved?

They should be sending those documents in a week or so.  You should be receiving those documents from your employer in 3 Weeks.

Your lawyer should get the documents in about 2 weeks. Can be earlier also.

It will mostly arrive within a week after approval.

My 797 was approved on Sept 30th and I received the original 797 on Oct 10th. I hope this information might be of some help to you.
