Stampingvisa Posted October 13, 2016 Report Posted October 13, 2016 Hi... I was arrested with the charges of misdemeanor, finger printed and photographed. The court convicted me of disorderly conduct. I paid the fine. The county records shows as "disorderly conduct-ordinance violation". I have the letter from attorney mentioning it is not a criminal and also the judgement of conviction letter from the court. I have my visa stamping in India and I am eligible for Dropbox interview waiver. 1)Could you please let me know if the letter from attorney and judgement of conviction is sufficient to enclose in the Dropbox documents. Please let me know if there is anything else. I read it in some forum that I might need a memorandum of law addressed to consulate. Do I need this? 2)Will I be called for a visa interview? If so, do I need to schedule the interview from us visa website? I am worried that I may not find any slots since my vacation is short. 3)Since I have a very short vacation in India, how long does the process take? I appreciate your responses.
