biodallas Posted October 11, 2016 Report Posted October 11, 2016 Consulate: Ottawa, Canada Date: Last week Me and my wife went from U.S to Ottawa to get visa stamp as Third Country Nationals. Her H1 got approved but they asked me to send some documents (my resume, publications etc etc ) for my H4 case, which I did. Her employment is direct and we had a very straightforward application, so I thought anyway. I am wondering if anyone else is in the same situation and how long do they take.

biodallas Posted October 11, 2016 Author Report Posted October 11, 2016 Yah! my past job was in sciences, but I moved away from that domain while ago. The standard reply I got says, follow up only after 60 days which is a long time being stuck in this state. I am hoping to hear from anyone who has this happen to them, and if there is anything as a individual I can do rather than just wait.
