New H1B approved I140 and Change of employer

I was on L1A visa and  got my H1 this year which is valid until 30th Sept 2017. I'm currently in 5th year in US and my H1B max out is 2nd Aug 2017.  My 140 is approved based on which I can further get  extension. I want to change company but as soon as I change company, my current employer will revoke the I140 in that case I would be left with very little time to get further extension (before my H1 expires, I will have to get my I140 approved with new employer and get H1 extension). Is there anyway to handle this situation ?
