H1B/H4 visa extension is in process - can H4 dependent travel India

Hello All,

First of all thanks for providing your valuable suggestions in this forum. 

I need your inputs on my below situation.

My current H1B and my spouse H4 visa (on her passport) is valid till January 2017.  I recently filed my H1B , spouse H4 visa extension on premium processing.  I received RFE on Oct 4th 2016 regarding additional documentation on client work assignment. Submitted RFE documents to employer. He will submit it to USCIS on Monday i.e. Oct 10th 2016. 

Can my wife travel India during visa extension is in process. She is planning to travel India on Oct 20th and will return on November 2016.

Will there be any problem at Port of Entry if my H1B and her H4 visa extension is not approved (if I again get a RFE or if it gets revoked). 

Please let me know your inputs.
