    Investing with H4EAD

Hi, I am a spouse of an H1b visa holder. I have an H4EAD card so have bought some stocks. Now my EAD is expiring soon, Can I still hold those stocks or should I sell them as my EAD will not be valid anymore. What are some consequences which I have to face if I do not sell my stocks?

    H1b Amendment timeline

Hi I have been working on a project with client A and my project has been on a temporary halt due to covid19 situation. I found a new project Client B which is in a different state but they have agreed for temporary remote work. Here my question is since I am changing my client I have to go through an amendment to work for a different Client. 1. What is the timeline when my amendment has to be filed? Can I start working and then file an amendment? 2. My work location will be remote WFH do I need to file an amendment?

    H1B Transfer on receipt

In the current situation, unless it is not very critical its not advisable to join on receipt. If you feel your job is safe at employer A and you can survive for few months there its better not to move to new employer. If Employer B is willing to wait you can request him that you can only transfer once your H1b is approved.

H1b transfer is in progress applying for a new transfer

@User099 I have checked with Employer C and told him about my situation. Employer C said that he will be filing transfer from Employer B and said it will not be dependent on current transfer approval. I am not exactly sure how this will work.

H1b transfer is in progress applying for a new transfer

@User099 My last day at employer A was on Dec 31 2019. I started my employer B on Jan3 2020. I am getting paychecks from Employer B. Employer C is ready to file for transfer. But I will need to provide him details.

H1b transfer is in progress applying for a new transfer

@gopalakrishnach @User099 My Concern is that If I tell Employer C about my current situation where I am working for employer B. He might not consider me for the job. Second is I am assuming If Employer C files for a transfer showing that I am working for employer B it will be considered as a bridge petition and will complicate the transfer. Correct me if I am wrong.
