H1BStamping_Ottawa
Hi all, I had successful visa interview last week at Ottawa. The lady who takes finger printing asked how old are the photos after looking at passport size photographs I was carrying with me. There is no issue since they were taken within 2 weeks, and passport photos matched with DS 160 photo. My visa is approved, but the VO did not ask me for any photographs, all the passport size photographs are still with me. I am still waiting to get my passport back. What is the procedure? Does VO or anyone keep your passport size photograph once Visa is approved? Thanks. Link to comment

Octh1
I think they won't give your passport size photograph. Consulate will keep themselves Link to comment
honey1991
Thanks much for the advise. I came to US in Dec 2012 on H1B(stamped at India). Currently I got an extension for my H1B. I need to actually travel Canada to meet my family, this would be stamping of my extension and not a new VISA. Is this risky or can I proceed booking an appointment. Link to comment
