Marriage base i-485 Cannot attend interview due to health

Hi,

 

I had my AOS(i-485,Marriage base) interview earlier this month but we cannot attend the interview since my wife fell sick. We requested to reschedule the interview and to a different state since I and my wife moved to another state 4 months ago.

 

My question is how much time does it take to transfer and reschedule the interview to a different state ? And Does my priority date remains same?

No Priority date involvement if you are marrying an USC. Also Change of Address by you needed to be notified to USCIS. Otherwise communications will be returned from the previous address.

Yes I did notify USCIS online and by mail, How much time does it takes for me to get interview  ?

Are you getting married to an USC? If so give it quite  a few weeks and then have your wife contact the Federal Senator relevant to you. Try an INFOPASS Appointment first to find out the situation.
