Son going for H4 interview

My husband will be going for his H1 stamping this summer. He has been working in US for past 10 years.

 

About 3 weeks later, my son who is 16 years old will be going for H4 stamping alone without his dad or me accompanying him. Can you please reply to the below questions.

 

1) Please let me know all possible documents my son should take to the consulate.

 

2) Also please let me know the possible visa interview questions he will be asked.

If any one had been in the same situation ie. son/daughter who has gone alone to the consulate for visa interview please help sharing your experience.

Any reason why he cannot go with your husband.?

My husband is traveling first and will be completing his stamping. My son and I are traveling later. Depending upon my son's summer school activities we both may delay our trip even further. Please advise.

The documents are the same as for any H4 visa Interview as listed on the consulate site. The questions should not be anything sinister. They may ask him casual questions about his school.
