Is it possible to switch jobs while i have an RFE in my H1B extension? Do i get some benefit of my approved i-140 to get an H1B?

I got my first H1B in October 2012. That H1B expired in September 2015 along with my I94. My employer applied for my H1B extension in July 2015. I got an RFE in my H1B extenstion application in March 2016. I need to reply to RFE by June 2016.
In February 2016 i got my I-140 from same employer.

1) I-94 expired on Oct 2015
2) extension applied in July 2015.
3) RFE received in March 2016.
4) I140 approval in Feb 2016
5) RFE response last Month June 2016

i dont see why you cannot. Please put forward your case to your new employer and his/her attorney.
