sville
All There isn't much info regarding the documents to be sent along with the N400 application for applicants who are applying for citizenship after 5 years of employment based green card approval. Let me know if I missed anything 1. Cover Letter 2. Tax return transcripts for previous 3 years 3. Tax account history (since tax transcripts are available only for past 3 years) 4. Mortgage/Rent statements from last year to date (if tax returns have not been filed yet) 5. Marriage certificate (?) 6. 2 Photographs with Alien Number at the back 7. Copies of Green card (front and back) 8. Check for $680 payable to Department of Homeland Security. Are these required? 1. Copies of my current passport? 2. Copy of my SSN Card? Link to comment
JoeF
Way too much. Just send whatever the N-400 instructions say. If they want more, they will tell you. Take tax returns etc. with you for the interview. No need to put that in the application. Same for marriage certificate. Don't overthink this. Just follow the N-400 instructions, and you are ok. pontevecchio
Items 2,3,4,5, above are not needed and if you send extraneous documentation your file may be delayed. Follow instructions for N-400 to the letter. Link to comment
