Guest
Hello I was married in 2010 and entered US on H4. I converted status to H1B in 2012 and started working. I again converted to H4 (effective March 1st, 2016). Now, I will be going to India and I should go for H4 visa stamping. Are these documents sufficient? Or am I missing something? § Appointment Confirmation Page / DS-160 Confirmation Page § Visa Fee Receipt § Marriage Certificate § Principal Applicant Documents o Passport ID Copy o Latest I-129/I-797/Visa/I-94 copy o Latest paystubs/W2/Tax returns o Employment Verification Letter § Dependent Documents o All passport & original I-797s o Latest I-94 copy My main question is if I need to take my paychecks, W2 etc which I got when I was working on H1. Technically I believe they are not needed as I am going for H4 stamping. Please suggest. Thank you Link to comment
shekar11#
Those documents are enough, but better to carry your pay checks and W-2's just in case they ask. You never know. Link to comment

pontevecchio
There would seem to be no problem taking the W2 and pdf copies of stubs. They are not strictly needed. Link to comment
