Can travel India and come back during h1b extension under process

Hi,

 

I would leike to travel india and come back in Dec 2015 for 2 weeks during my H1b extension is under process. Pls let me know is there any issues will be faced at Port of entry ?.

 

I do have valid visa stamping with company A upto sep 2016. I changed new company in Jan 2015 and got the valid I 797 upto March 2016. Can i travel to india in Dec 2015 fortwo weeks and come back. My company is not agreeing to apply Premimum processing. Appreciate your help.

When an extension is in progress OP can travel outside. It is not like COS where the petition gets abandoned due to travel.
