Travel to North Korea - Affect Citizenship application?

I hold an Indian passport and am eligible to apply for US citizenship (GC holder since 2009). I have the opportunity to visit China and North Korea as a member of medical delegation in Dec 2015 for ~ 10 days.

 

1] Any concerns that visit to North Korea should affect my citizenship application?

2] I was planning on applying after returning to US. Should I submit application right now and declare in application my intent to visit North Korea?

The major concern is the warning by the State Department and recommendations that US Citizens not visit North Korea due to various reasons which you can find on the state Department website. Who are the organizers of this trip? As presumably an Indian Citizen as of now you should not have any trouble.
