rchandra123
since its been more than 18 months that I took new employment and my VISA number is current (with old employer), do you think I can still go ahead and file a AC21 now ? Also 2 important observations -my Anumber in I140 and I 485 are different -my priority date column on I485 is blank , but its correctly denoted on I140 Are both these things an issue ? Belle
AC21 has nothing to do with PD being current or not current. If you have two A numbers, it's a problem, and they need to be merged. Call 1-800 number and create a service request for that. Link to comment
rchandra123
Thanks Belle, I certainly did - opened a service request for it AC21 still thinking about it, as my old employer is still covering for me and my role differs a little with new employer so do not want to file it right away as its a big company and would not change the role for my needs Link to comment
Belle
The role does not have to be the same, only similar. That's what the law says. Link to comment
